Bertha C. and Roy E. Leigh Distinguished Lecture – WSU School of Economic Sciences

The School of Economic Sciences would like to invite you to this special lecture which will be held on Wednesday, April 8, at 7:00 p.m. in CUE 203 with a reception to follow. This year’s speaker will be Dr. Michael Grossman, Distinguished Professor of Economics at the City University of New York Graduate Center who will be lecturing on: “The Relationship Between Health and Schooling: What’s New?” Does better schooling affect the health status in a population? Or does better health increase schooling? Dr. Grossman, a renowned expert in health economics, will discuss the foundations of the health-education relationship, and explore recent empirical findings.
