The purpose of this meeting is for one (perhaps two, time permitting) investigators to present their current proposal (e.g., specific aims) briefly (<15 minutes) to a group of interested addiction researchers and for the presenter to receive feedback that will help the development process of a grant proposal under construction. After the initial presentation, the goal of this seminar is for the attendees to engage in a discussion and offer as much constructive feedback as possible in order to help make the proposal strong before being submitted. This seminar is also intended to help presenters identify potential key collaborators who they may want to invite to be part of their research team.
The seminar will be held from noon – 1 p.m. on March 25 in SNRS 203 (AMS TBD for Vancouver, others as requested). Dr. Marian Wilson will be discussing and asking for feedback on a project titled Measuring opioid use and misuse for people with chronic pain.
Please join us in an effort to raise the level of scholarship of our grants in order to help make our investigators’ grants stronger!
Please RSVP to Ms. Olivia Brooks (olivia.brooks@wsu.edu) so we know how many to expect. We look forward to hearing everyone!
