Free Beginning Piano Lessons to Volunteer Students

The Piano Pedagogy Lab School in the School of Music is looking for a small number of volunteer students to receive 3 free, introductory piano lessons from student teachers as part of their practicum training. Children ages 7-9 years who have had no previous piano lessons are welcome to participate; participants should have daily access to a piano or keyboard during the three week practicum period. Lessons will be weekly, private 30-minute appointments (parents are welcome to attend; the supervising teacher will be present at the first lessson) given during three consecutive weeks beginning the week of Mar 30th, located in the School of Music (Kimbrough Hall).
