TODAY – Humanities Week Presentation

Join us for “a Humanities of Inclusion” as we explore a variety of issues and topics.  The discussion will begin at 5:30 p.m. today in the Honors Hall Lounge.

Moderator, Francisco Manzo-Robledo, professor in DFLC, will lead the conversation of speaker presentations by Mary Bloodsworth-Lugo, professor in CCGRS, entitled “LGBTQ Bodies and Deportation in the 9/11 Era;” Romain Chareyon, clinical assistant professor in DFLC, entitled “The Complex Notion of Identity in the Films of Xavier Dolan;”  Melynda Huskey, VP for Student Affairs, entitled “Playing Well With Others: Working in disciplinary and institutional intersections;” Ruby Kim, doctoral candidate in American Studies, entitled “Queer Seoul Searching;” and Nishant Shahani, associate professor in CCGRS, entitled “Patently Queer: Toward a Biopolitical Critique of Globalization.”
