Avalanche Beacon Practice Clinic

While the adventures that wait beyond the bounds of traditional slopes are thrilling, one must be prepared for the dangers involved. Participants in the ORC’s Avalanche Beacon Practice Clinic will practice the basic skills needed to safely, effectively and properly use an avalanche beacon in an emergency situation. Beacons are provided, but you’re encouraged to bring your own if you have one. This clinic is Wednesday, Jan. 28 from 6-9 p.m. Registration costs $5 and ends Jan. 25.
