Dr. Karen Diller, Associate Library Director at WSU Vancouver, will share her research on “Restorative Library Study Spaces” Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Terrell Library, Room 103.
Karen will present the results of her dissertation research on how library study spaces can be helpful in relieving mental fatigue and support effective study strategies. Her research uses theory from environmental and educational psychology to look at whether access to green spaces has an impact on reducing mental fatigue and on perceived abilities to study effectively.
