New DHL Express Accounts

WSU now has accounts with DHL Express for exporting and importing goods. DHL provides a premium next day service for the shipping and receipt of international packages. For the necessary export or import account numbers contact Central Receiving at 335-5575.

In order to get started preparing your export shipments online, you will need to register for WebShip.

  • To register for WebShip, visit our website at https://www.dhl-usa.com and click “Login – My DHL Express”.
  • Click the gray link on the right side to register for WebShip.
  • When you are registering, the system will ask you to enter your export account #. Make sure to include that information – by associating that export account number with your WebShip UserID, it will allow you to get accurate rate quotes that reflect your discount through WebShip and also ensure that you are billed accurately.

To get started preparing import shipments online, you will register for Import Express Online (IEO is only if you plan to prepare the waybills for your imports on your end. The alternative is to simply send your commercial invoices and account number to your supplier and have them prepare the waybill with DHL in their country, which many of our customers typically do).  To register for IEO, please visit https://importexpressonline.dhl.com and click “register now”.

For assistance contact the DHL tech support team at 800-527-7298 and they will be happy to help you.
