“The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.” ~Franklin D. Roosevelt
What is poverty? What does it look like in our community and around the world? Who is impacted by poverty? Poverty is a complex issue with many factors that need to be considered and understood in order to raise awareness and find a potential solution.
As a part of Poverty Awareness Week, join the students, faculty, staff and community members to discuss the factors of poverty and how we can begin to address them at the Public Square on Tuesday, November 18 at noon in Butch’s Den. Pullman students should register for this event on CougSync.
The event is also available for Global Campus students via live stream and a separate chat feature where you can ask questions for discussion live during the event. If you are having trouble accessing the live stream or chat feature, click here for help. The video of this event will be available on the CCE’s YouTube channel within two weeks after the event.
