Whitman County Emergency Management and WSU Emergency Management are working together to bring the Weather Spotter Class. Residents, including students are invited to learn about being the “eyes and ears” of the National Weather Service. Local weather reports coupled with radar, satellite and other data has enabled the NWS to issue more timely and accurate warnings and statements for different types of hazardous weather.
