Videoconference: Leadership and Communication – October 23

Dr. Todd Norton of the Murrow College of Communication will lead the next Department Chairs and Directors Workshop on Thursday, Oct. 23 (7:30-9 a.m.). Entitled “Leadership and Communication,” this session provides a framework through which participants can assess personal leadership styles, learn how differences in leadership styles affect group process and morale, and convey messages that are clear and compelling. Also included is information regarding different communication styles, rapport building, and active listening.

Although specifically featured in the Chairs and Directors workshop series, all interested employees are welcome. The workshop will be available statewide via AMS Videoconferencing Services. It is important to register in advance.  To do so, click here.
