ACE Personal Training Prep Course

It’s not too late to sign up for the American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Training Prep Course with University Recreation! The course covers guidelines for instructing safe, effective and purposeful exercise. It also goes over the essentials of the client-trainer relationship, conducting health and fitness assessments, and designing and implementing appropriate exercise programming. This course does not certify you to be a personal trainer, but it does prepare you for the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam and makes you eligible for a discount on your exam fee! The course started on Sept. 9 and will run through Nov. 20, but registration doesn’t close until Sept. 21. The course is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. in SRC Room 144.
