IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Send or bring all final materials and the required Proctor Form (PI) at least one full business day before each final. Indicate ALL PROCTORING INSTRUCTIONS ON PI – none in cover email. The 14 Spring PROCTOR INSTRUCTION FORM is found on our website: AccessCenter.wsu.edu. Click on the large red circle in the upper right corner.
For Monday finals, please send or bring materials no later than 3 PM Friday. Address your email to Access.Testing@wsu.edu. If you know that will not be possible, please call 5-8079 Sat or Sun between Noon & 5PM and we will meet you at our entrance. We will be working both weekend days. We must know materials will arrive no later than 5 PM Sunday.
Please complete all requested information on PI, especially your confidential cellphone number or indicating you will respond immediately to email. We must be able to reach you or a TA in case a student has questions or we need clarification of proctoring instructions. Please have your phone on vibrate while testing your class.
If your final is more than six pages and you expect more than two or three students to test at the Access Center, please prepare enough paper copies for all students and deliver to Proctoring Center.
If you find an error or necessary correction — PLEASE EMAIL UPDATES PLUS CALL 5-8079 to alert us of incoming email. We have a huge volume of incoming emails and an update may be overlooked. We must receive an alert call to look for your email.
USE OF EXTRA TESTING RESOURCES: If your students are allowed to use extra resources such as a CALCULATOR, be specific regarding what type of calculator…graphing, 4-function, scientific (exact model #), or you may input: ANY CALCULATOR. If no specific type calculator is indicated, we will allow any calculator student brings.
CRITICAL info regarding NOTES AND SCRATCH PAPER:
Are notes required to be handwritten or typed?
How many sheets allowed and what size (3×5, 4×6, 8 1/2 x 11); single or doubled sided?
Must notes be returned to you?
If scratch paper allowed (always provided by Proctoring Center) do you want it returned? If you do not want students to use scratch paper, please indicate that on the PI.
RETURN OF COMPLETED FINALS: Please note SCAN & EMAIL is NOT AVAILABLE. CAMPUS MAIL return is available only for finals taken Monday or Tuesday. All other finals will be HELD for pick-up between 8:00AM & 8:00PM. Please be prepared to call 5-3417 or 5-8079 if you arrive after 5PM and find the main door locked. We are located at 217 Washington Bldg. (above Student H&W Clinic)
Student use of their own laptops: If your students may use their own or our computers to access a specific program or an E-Textbook, please note we cannot monitor where else the student might venture on the Internet. If monitoring that activity is critical to your exam, please make arrangements to provide your students all their testing accommodations in your location.
If you have already sent your final materials, we THANK YOU!
