Send or bring all final materials and the required Proctor Form (PI) at least ONE full business day before each final. Indicate ALL PROCTORING INSTRUCTIONS ON PI– none in cover email. The 14 Spring PROCTOR INSTRUCTION FORM is found on our website: AccessCenter.wsu.edu. Click on the large red circle in the upper right corner.For Monday finals, please send or bring materials no later than 3 PM Friday. If that will not be possible, please call 5-8079 Saturday or Sunday from Noon to 5PM (we will be working both weekend days) and we will meet you at our entrance door . We must know materials will be arriving no later than 5 PM Sunday.
Please complete all requested information on PI, which includes your confidential cellphone number. We must be able to reach you or a TA in case of a student question or we encounter proctoring issues. Please have your phone on vibrate while testing your class.
If your final exam is more than six pages and you expect a large number of students to test at the Access Center, please prepare paper copies of your exam and deliver to Access Center.
If you find an error or necessary correction PLEASE EMAIL UPDATES AND CALL 5-8079 to alert us of incoming email. We have a huge volume of incoming emails and an emailed update will likely be overlooked. We must receive an alert call to look for that email and prepare correction for your students testing here.
If your students are allowed to use extra resources such as a calculator, be specific regarding what type of calculator… graphing, 4-function, scientific or you may input: ANY CALCULATOR. If no specific type calculator is indicated, we will allow whatever calculator the students brings.
The following details are CRITICAL: If approved, are note sheets:
- Required to be handwritten or typed?
- How many sheets allowed and what size (3×5, 4×6, 8 1/2 x 11)?
- Is scratch paper allowed? This is always provided by Proctoring Center.
- Must notes be returned to you?
Regarding return of completed finals: Please note SCAN & EMAIL return is NOT AVAILABLE. You may request Campus Mail, BUT, only for exams completed on Monday or Tuesday. All other finals will be HELDfor pickup from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Please be prepared to call 5-3417 if you find the main door locked if you arrive after 5 PM.
