April 3 Videoconference: Understanding the University Budget

How do WSU’s planning and budgeting processes look at the institutional level?  Associate Vice President and Chief Budget Officer Joan King leads this final session in the WSU Department Chairs and Directors Workshop Series. She will identify the sources and types of funds that impact WSU’s budget, as well as discuss budgetary allocation processes and special fund categories. Occurring April 3, 7:30-9 a.m., this course is particularly useful to those interested in advancing their understanding of financial management in the university setting.
