PEBB Eligible Employees: Prepare Now! For Upcoming Employee Benefit Matters

Beginning in April, there will be several benefit topics that all WSU benefit-eligible faculty and staff will be required to respond to, including Premium Surcharges and a Wellness Incentive. Information can be found on the Human Resource Services website at www.hrs.wsu.edu/Benefits, and will also be distributed via the following resources.To ensure you will be ready to address these in April, please attend to the following now:

  • Create your HCA “My Account”, if you have not already done so.
    • Many of the upcoming processes will be processed through “My Account”; create your account now, so you are ready to respond come April.
  • Forward your @wsu.edu email account to the email address you utilize.
    • If you use an email other than @wsu.edu, you may not be receiving crucial information. Examples of alternative email addresses include: @vetmed.wsu.edu; @vancouver@wsu.edu; @tricity.wsu.edu; @earlyoutreach.wsu.edu; and @ees.wsu.edu.  For instructions on how to forward you email, visit  https://infotech.wsu.edu/email/Email-Forwarding.html.
  • Subscribe via the WSU Mailman website to “WSU-News” and “WSU.Announcements”
    • These are great resources to keep apprised about benefit issues, as well as all other WSU events, activities, and news.
  • Verify that your home mailing address is up-to-date.
    • The Health Care Authority will be sending mailings to home addresses regarding the surcharges and incentive. To ensure your address is up-to-date, review your personal information listed under “My Profile” in zzusis.
