Spring Break: SW Desert Climbing Eco Adventure

Add some adventure to your spring break March 14-23. Travel with the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) and the Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC) to the Red Rock Desert in Las Vegas, Nevada, and spend the week rock climbing, camping, and doing community service.

Community service will include trail maintenance and can be recorded with the CCE for class, résumés, or personal purposes. Then, have some fun rock climbing and learning techniques such as belaying, knot tying, and more.

Participants must attend a pre-trip meeting on March 5 at 6 p.m. in the ORC lobby. Health forms must be completed and submitted by the registration deadline on March 2.
