Teen Conference Workshop Proposals Available

It’s Decision Time is accepting workshop proposals for the 2014 4-H Teen Conference, June 22-24, at WSU Campus in Pullman. Over four-hundred teens from across Washington State attend this event.

The goal is to provide fun, educational workshops focused in three areas:

  1. Educational options for after high school;
  2. Career exploration and steps a teen may take during high school to prepare for a given career;
  3. Life skills necessary for positive independent living.

All presentations fall on Monday, June 23. Workshop sessions are planned for the morning and afternoon with one or two-hour time slots. Audience will include 4-H teens and teens from other youth development organizations grades 8-12 (Summer 2014).

Each Teen Conference educational offering and activity should be experiential or very “hands on” for the students. Find the workshop submission form at: https://4hteen.wufoo.com/forms/2014-4h-teen-conference/. Proposals are due by Feb. 28.
