Mental Health First Aid: Spring Sessions

Increase your mental health literacy with Mental Health First Aid training this Spring. There are three sessions still available: Feb. 22, March 12, and April 15 and 16. Spots fill up quickly, so don’t miss your opportunity to become a certified Mental Health First Aider.

This training will provide knowledge to help identify risk factors, signs and symptoms of mental health issues, and how to help in a crisis situation. Participants will learn what to do until the appropriate professional help arrives and also gain general awareness about prevalence rates and available treatment. The cost is $40 and can be paid online, or via IRI for WSU departments. For more information, please visit wellbeing.wsu.edu or call (509) 335-8998.
