Create Your Own Basic Ebook Training – Jan. 9

This class, taking place from 1-4 p.m., will teach you how to create a simple ebook (text and pictures) using freely available open source software that is freely available. You will learn how to create your own ebook, and how to convert ebook file formats so that your ebook can be read on different devices that require specific formats (i.e. so it can be read on Nooks, Kindles, or smartphone/tablet ereading apps). You will also learn how to organize and manage the ebooks you create.  It is important to register in advance. To do so, use the following link to access the course information page within your WSU Online Training Account; then click on the triangular ‘launch’ button to register for the session: https://hrs.wsu.edu/skillsoft/default.aspx?c=ilt_wsu_ITUSR_944
