Spokane Riverfront Park Design Concept Presentation

Come and share your thoughts on new design concepts for Spokane’s Riverfront Park presented by Washington State University interior design and landscape architecture students on December 6th at Spokane Public Library. The event runs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and is free to the public.

Three studio classes will present a design perspective for different aspects of the park, including a potential wedding venue on Canada Island, eco-regionally inspired plans for a central park promenade, and a sculpture garden on east Havermale Island. The conceptual work will explore each site’s potential, spatial form, cultural and natural histories, and characteristics.
