For the 10th time, the College of Education will host its annual Globalization Conference, which addresses themes of diversity and education within the contexts of globalization, connecting local people, economies, cultures, and ideologies.
It is organized by the college’s Cultural Studies and Social Thought program.
It will include an expert in global diversity in education as its keynote speaker, and an award-winning filmmaker will show her documentary about parents, students, and teachers in southern Mexico who rallied together to save education in the face of economic globalization threats.
The conference will take place Feb. 27-28, 2014 in Spokane.
