Common Reading: Nominations Open Nov. 1 – Dec. 13 for 2014-15 Book
Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the community are asked to submit the names of books that would make great common reading for next year’s first-year students.Nominations can be made online at https://commonreading.wsu.edu from November 1 through December 13.
The review committee will evaluate every book, and consider the nominator’s responses to the various questions in the online nomination form.
The committee is made up of faculty, staff, and students.
2014-15 will mark the eighth academic year that the Common Reading Program has provided the source of shared conversation among students and their faculty. The book will be used in dozens of first-year and additional classes. Topics from the book are explored in great detail at evening and special events in the Common Reading Tuesdays series, which features presentations by research faculty and other experts.
