Videoconference: Employing and Hosting International Scholars and Students at WSU – November 13

Originating in Pullman, this workshop will be available statewide via AMS Videoconferencing Services. Taking place from 8:30-10:30 a.m., this workshop is intended for any staff member who interacts with international students, scholars, and staff that are temporary residents. It is particularly useful for those involved with personnel-related duties such as obtaining necessary employment authorization for international researchers and teachers, hosting international faculty that are not employed, and completing paperwork for student employment.  Members of WSU Global Services staff will describe eligibility criteria, processes, rules, and policies for hosting and employing international student and scholars residing at WSU on temporary appointments, not permanent residency.
