Nov. 5: ‘Cougs under the Influence: Liquor, Laws and Learning’

Student alcohol and drug abuse prevention will be the topic of a free, public panel discussion 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the CUB auditorium. The Daily Evergreen student newspaper will host the event and will run a series of related articles in advance.

During the first half of the discussion, a moderator will pose questions to the panel. The second half will be open for questions from the audience.

Topics of discussion will include the social behaviors associated with substance abuse, the laws police enforce both on campus and off, the policies the hospital has for treating patients and how best to educate students about asking for help for themselves or friends.
