Cougs Vote in November!

Students, staff, faculty, and community members are encouraged to vote in the 2013 general election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. While it is not a presidential election year, there are still many issues on this year’s ballot, ranging from state senator elections to initiatives on GMOs.

If you haven’t registered to vote in Washington yet, you still can! The deadline to register in person is Monday, October 28, and in Pullman you can register at the Pullman City Hall Clerk’s Office. Ballots will begin to be distributed for Washington residents on Friday, October 18, and completed ballots can be mailed in or dropped off at any ballot box, including the box located outside the CUB.

Are you a CyberCoug? Voting on November 5 is nationwide! To learn about the issues impacting you, visit your Secretary of State’s website, and to learn about how to vote in your state, visit canivote.mytimetovote.com.

It is YOUR RIGHT to be heard, so cast your vote to make a stand! Visit cce.wsu.edu for more information on elections and what will be on the 2013 Washington state ballot.
