Washington State University Transportation Services will offer annual parking permit renewals for current annual (non-Residence Hall) permit holders for the 2020-21 permit cycle online, beginning at 10 a.m. July 9, through 5 p.m. July 26, 2020.

If you do not currently have an annual parking permit, you will need to purchase a permit during the appropriate permit sales period. Please see below for further information.

If you currently live or will live in a Residence Hall in fall 2020, you are not eligible to renew your permit. Please see OPEN PERMIT SALES section below, or RESIDENCE HALL CRIMSON PRIORITY SALE section if you are eligible.

Important permit renewal/sales items

  1. DID YOU RETURN YOUR PERMIT DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC?

If you returned your annual parking permit due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you will be able to renew your permit during the renewal period, if you wish to do so.

  1. IF YOU RENEW NOW AND END UP NOT NEEDING YOUR PERMIT IN THE FALL, YOU CAN RETURN IT.

Whether you purchase your permit outright or pay through the payroll deduction program, if you will not be returning to campus in the fall of 2020 for any reason, you may get a full refund/stop payroll deductions on or before Aug. 26, 2020.

  1. ALL VEHICLE INFORMATION MUST BE UPDATED!

Parking patrons will still renew and/or purchase permits online. Like last year, it will be very important to make sure your vehicle information is up to date and correct in your parking account before renewals (July 9, 2020), or open permit sales (July 28, 2020) begin.

To review and/or update vehicle information on your parking account:

  • Go to wsu.edu
  • Click “Login” in the top right hand corner.
  • Log in with your WSU network ID and password.
  • Click on “Permits” on the left hand side.
  • Click on your current permit
  • Review your Associated Vehicles.
    • From here you can make changes to the vehicles already associated to your permit(s) and/or add a new vehicle to your permit.

The process described above is for updating vehicle information only. This will NOT renew your permit, you will still need to go online during the renewal period to renew your permit. If you have questions or issues regarding updating your vehicle information, please contact Transportation Services by email at transportation@wsu.edu, or by phone at 509-335-PARK (7275).
