celebratecarson-logoSEATTLE – A new networking event in support of business education – Celebrate Carson College! – will be 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Herban Feast SODO Park, 3200 1st Ave. South, Suite 100, Seattle.

Registration is $75 and is available online at http://business.wsu.edu/celebratecarson until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. The reception style event will include hearty hors d’oeuvres, a hosted bar, live music by Eric E., Carson College alumni guest speakers Jonah Friedl (’16) and Brett Boese (’16) and a raise the paddle program.

Chip Hunter, dean of the Washington State University Carson College of Business, invites Pacific Northwest business leaders, WSU alumni and others to the event to help raise funds to support the college’s Dean’s Excellence Fund. The fund accelerates the college’s progress toward strategic goals and supports the Carson Center for Student Success, curriculum, technology and facilities. External support benefits students in the classroom and prepares them for a competitive, global business environment.

“Our theme, ‘invest, engage and unite,’ focuses on interactive fun and networking opportunities for our guests,” Hunter said. “The money raised will help us move closer toward our aspirational goal of becoming the first choice for students seeking a business education in the Pacific Northwest.”
