WSU Police warn students of employment scam
As part of this fraudulent employment scheme, the suspects pose as professors and email students to advertise fake job opportunities.

Signs will be posted in the affected area to notify those in the vicinity. A number of emergency response vehicles will be parked in the area, and passersby may hear the sound of blank or paint rounds being fired as part of training exercises.
A valuable auto part was cut from a WSU vehicle that had sat largely idle on the Pullman campus during the pandemic and damage to a nearby truck also has been discovered.
The Reimagining Public Safety in Pullman summit is taking place Nov. 9 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Registration can be done online and must be completed by Nov. 2.
