PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University women’s rugby players returned from their historic spring trip to London with some bumps and bruises, but it’s the memories of competing against some of the world’s best club teams, seeing famous landmarks, and building camaraderie that they’ll remember the most.
After months of planning, fundraising, and training, the team—ranked seventh nationally in the most recent Division I poll—became the first WSU sport club in over 30 years to compete internationally.

PULLMAN, Wash. – The undefeated Washington State University women’s rugby team will be in London Sunday to play against the world’s oldest open rugby club. Coach Christy O’Shea calls it the trip of a lifetime.

PULLMAN – The USA Women’s National Rugby Team chose Ashley Kmiecik (’05, BA Liberal Arts) to start in the 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup in England this August.
Kmiecik will play as a fullback with the USA Women Eagles beginning with a match versus Kazakhstan on August 20.
