WSU gets $100,000 to promote healthy neighborhood homes

SPOKANE, Wash. – Healthy housing is the focus of a novel collaboration between Washington State University Health Sciences Spokane and its community neighbors, funded by a $100,000 grant from the Smith-Barbieri Progressive Fund.

Warehouse to be demolished Monday to make way for clinic

SPOKANE, Wash. – Crews will demolish a large portion of the former Peirone warehouse on the southeast edge of the Washington State University Spokane campus beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, March 2, and lasting one to two hours. The structure will be razed to make way for the new University District Health Clinic (UDHC), a project of the Spokane Teaching Health Consortium.

SPOKANE, Wash. – To help overcome the physician shortage in central and eastern Washington, the Washington State University Board of Regents at its September meeting approved the sale of up to $16.25 million in revenue bonds for design and construction of the University District Health Clinic.
