Cable 8 Productions presents benefit concert

WSU Cable 8 Productions and Stephenson South residence hall will present a benefit concert 7:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, in Stephenson Down Under. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. 

 

Organizers hope to raise $10,000 to donate to the Schulze-Makuch family of Pullman to cover expenses for their son’s cancer treatment. Dirk Schulze-Makuch is an associate professor at WSU Pullman.

The concert will feature bands Chariot on Fire of Pullman, Passion of California and My Paper Camera of Boise.

Cougars Rockin’ the Vote

PULLMAN — Students will be given the opportunity to Rock the Vote and get informed Thursday, Oct. 2 at Glenn Terrell mall with various activities put together by ASWSU.

 

There will be a meet and greet with various political candidates including Democrats Pat O’Neil and Tyana Kelley from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., as well as programs “Under the Big Tent: Why I Vote!” at 12:30 p.m. and “Coffee and Politics with Mark Mays” at 2 p.m.

 

Entertainment will include Rock band Chariots on Fire and henna tattoos.
