WSU Extension — Walla Walla County, in partnership with University of Idaho Extension — Nez Perce County and the PNW Farmers’ Network, will host a three-part workshop series on soil acidity management for the Inland Northwest region. The series includes two online sessions — Nov. 30 and Dec. 19 — with presentations on the latest results from regional soil pH research and creating an acidity management plan.
The series culminates with an in-person meeting held in Clarkston, Wash. on Jan. 18, 2024. This workshop series is an opportunity to gain valuable insights and participate in conversations about mitigation strategies for low soil pH and related farm management practices.
Workshop attendees will be eligible to receive 10 soil and water CCA credits.
Pre-registration is required for all events; space is limited for the in-person workshop. Virtual sessions are free to attend, but you must select “tickets” from the event registration page to receive the Zoom links. The cost for the in-person event is $30 and includes access to the recorded online sessions.
