WSU Tri-Cities will host a series of events in February to celebrate advocacy efforts and to raise awareness about the African American experience in the Tri-Cities in honor of Black History Month.
WSU Tri-Cities students partnered with a local nonprofit to refine board game instructions into a simpler structure, which makes it easier to translate those instructions into a variety of languages.
The exhibition will feature a range of styles of art, including interactive and electronic sculptures, ceramics, photography, painting, drawing and more by 16 faculty and staff from across the WSU system.
A wine business book authored by a WSU Tri‑Cities business professor and colleagues from other parts of the country earned the award for “Best Book for Professionals” by the Gourmand International Cookbook Awards.

WSU Tri-Cities welcomes the well-known and classically-trained Irish musical trio Affiniti and Howard Crosby, the nephew of Bing Crosby, for an exceptional holiday concert on Dec. 13 that will support WSU Tri-Cities student entrepreneurial projects.
WSU Tri-Cities students Kyle Brunson and Danae Williams earned the grand prize at the competition for the wine label and business and financial plans they developed for their proposed wine, “Gladiolus Red Mountain Rosé.”
Savanna Navarro Kresse, vice president for the Associated Students of WSU Tri‑Cities and a senior history major, earned an “Honor Role” award through the ALL IN Challenge Awards program, where she was invited to be honored in Washington, D.C.
The new Three Rivers Writers’ Festival on Saturday, Nov. 2 will feature seminars and workshops by established local and regional authors, publishers and editors and WSU English and history faculty members.
