The Washington State women’s basketball team returned to the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight season in 2021-22, marking the first time the Cougars have participated in March Madness in back-to-back seasons in program history. WSU won 19 games in 2021-22, which is the most wins in a season in the NCAA era (post-1982) in program history. Washington State won a program-record 11 Pac-12 games this season to finish in a tie for second in the league standings. It is WSU’s highest finish ever in the Pac-12.
