Software carpentry workshop

The WSU Center for Environmental Research, Education and Outreach and the WSU Center for Institutional Research Computing are co-sponsoring a software carpentry workshop from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 28 and March 1 in the PACCAR Building (2001 Grimes Way), Room 202.

This two-day workshop will cover navigating file systems and automating tasks with the command line, basic programming with Python, and version control with Git. During the workshop, instructors and helpers guide participants through hands-on exercises and peer-to-peer programming activities. The workshop cost is $25. Register here.
