PULLMAN – The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) and WSU students, faculty and staff will be joining people across the country in making a difference and volunteering in different projects around the area during “Make a Difference Day” Oct. 24.
In partnership with several organizations, including Haunted Palouse, Rake Run and Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute, the CCE is offering the WSU community a variety of service opportunities. To learn more about these “Make a Difference Day” projects, visit the CCE’s website.
The “Make a Difference Day” website states that, “in 2008, three million people cared enough about their communities to volunteer on that day, accomplishing thousands of projects in hundreds of towns.”
