“Reporting Violence: Fear, Privacy and Safety”

PULLMAN – In observance of the Week Without Violence, the WSU Center for Civic Engagement will be hosting another Under the Big Tent at noon on Thursday, Oct. 15, at Glenn Terrell Mall.
The topic of the debate is “Reporting Violence: Fear, Privacy and Safety.”  All students and members of the community are invited. Participants and the audience will explore, debate and gain insight to the issues that surround reporting violence.
Under the Big Tent is an opportunity for the WSU campus and extended community to involve themselves in a civil debate of critical issues. Past debate topics addressed local, regional, national and global issues, and gave students and community members a chance to reclaim the tradition and art of public discourse.
