Workshop aims to teach faculty how to get published

PULLMAN – WSU faculty will have the chance to learn what steps to take to get their writings published at a workshop Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon. The workshop is part of the Experiential Learning Workshop series offered by CAHNRS Academic Programs and is conducted by the WSU Writing Programs.
The workshop will examine what steps faculty can take to meet journal expectations. The goal of the workshop is to give faculty the knowledge to choose an appropriate journal to publish in and to know what to expect, and to be able to identify obstacles and create strategies to get their paper published.
This workshop is designed to be a hands-on, effective approach that produces results. Participants need to bring a copy of the journal in which they wish to be published.
The workshop is free, but participants are encouraged to sign up early due to seating being limited to 20.
To register, contact Becky Dueben at 335-8403 or rdueben@wsu.edu.
