PULLMAN – WSU will celebrate “College Colors Day” Sept. 4 and “Crimson Fridays” every Friday during the academic year. Alumni, students and university employees can show their school spirit by dressing in the crimson and gray colors.
For the fifth year, College Colors Day seeks to celebrate and promote the traditions and spirit of the college experience, and strives to promote higher education by increasing public awareness and celebrating the achievements of colleges and universities in the U.S.
WSU President Elson S. Floyd signed a presidential decree Aug. 12, 2008 in which he proclaimed every Friday during the academic year Crimson Spirit Day. He encouraged all faculty, staff, alumni, students and supporters of WSU to wear apparel bearing the colors or insignias of the university each and every Friday.
