Associate professor will discuss energy and air quality

PULLMAN – The Mechanical and Materials Symposium Series will feature Liv Haselbach, associate professor in the department of civil and environmental engineering at WSU, on Thursday, Sept. 3 from 11:10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Haselbach will speak in the Engineering Teaching and Research Lab Building, Room 101, on the topic of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, energy, indoor air quality and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
The presentation will provide a review of some of the current areas dealing with HVAC systems and indoor air quality. Haselbach will also discuss recent changes in the U.S. Green Building Council LEED rating system dealing with energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
There will be a meet the speaker session accompanied by refreshments at 10:30 a.m. in Sloan 243.
The seminar is open to everyone who would like to attend.
