WSU Videoconference Operations Manager Donald Dover has been awarded the 2008 United States Distance Learning Association award for Outstanding Leadership by an Individual in the Field of Distance Learning.
The USDLA Awards are created to acknowledge major accomplishments in distance learning. It highlights distance learning instructors, programs, and professionals who has achieved and demonstrated extraordinary achievements through the use of online, videoconferencing, and satellite/video delivery techniques.
Dover will be honored on May 7 in Kansas City, Mo., as part of the USDLA’s anniversary conference, May 6-8.
Dover was nominated by Polycom, a manufacturer of videoconference equipment that WSU uses for distance learning.
