Accepting applications for President’s Award Program

PULLMAN – Nominations for the Annual President’s Award Program are due by Friday, February 20.
 
Since 1996, the President’s Award has been bestowed annually to less than 1-percent of the university’s undergraduate and graduate students who exemplify leadership and service to WSU and the community.  Students are selected based on their leadership and engagement consistent with the WSU’s values of inquiry and innovation, character, teamwork and diversity.
 
In addition to being nominated, students may also apply for the award.  Those applications are due March 10.
 
The University will also be selecting on student to receive t he inaugural Virginia E. Thomas Endowed Scholarship estimated to be $1000.
