Dining Services’ offers Holidays Around The World

Pullman – Dining Services offers “Holidays Around the World” the week of December 8 – 12. Dining Services will feature authentic cuisine from a different nation each day at the University Dining Café’s:
 
Monday – A Taste of France
Hillside Café – Beef Roulades with Mushroom Sauce, Buttered Noodles, and Broccoli with Cheese Sauce
Northside Café – Cassoulet, Mixed Green Salad with Classic Vinaigrette, and Crusty French Bread
Southside Café – Ratatouille, Chicken Tarragon, and Fried Frog Legs with Roasted Garlic Aioli
 
Tuesday – A Taste of Iran
Hillside Café – Fesenjan (Chicken in Sweet & Sour Pomegranate Sauce), White Rice, and Sautéed Egg Plant
Northside Café – Khoresnt Anaar Aveej (Chicken in Pomegranate Sauce), Persian Rice, and Saffron Rice Pudding
Southside Café – Braised Lamb with Split Peas, Dolmeh-yeh Seeb-Zamini  (Stuffed Potatoes with Herb Beef Filling)
 
Wednesday – A Taste of the Philippines
Hillside Café – Bistek (Philippine-Style Steak), Philippine Macaroni Salad, and Plancit (Philippine Noodles)  Northside Café – Chicken Adobo, Lumpias (Philippine Spring Roll) and Banana Fritters
Southside Café – Pork Adobo with Jasmine Rice, Lumpias, and Coconut Rice Pudding 
 
Thursday – A Taste of the United Kingdom
Hillside Café – Traditional Beer Battered Cod with Fresh Chips and Coleslaw, served with Lemon and Malt Vinegar
Northside Café – Roast Beef, Roasted Potatoes and Parsnips, and Yorkshire Pudding
Southside Café – British Sausage and Beer Battered Cod
 
Friday – A Taste of Romania
Hillside Café – Chicken Breasts Romania served on a Bed of Pasta with Fried Green Beans
Northside Café – Romanian Meatloaf, Romanian Zucchini & Potato Latkes, and Cozonac Cu Nuca (Walnut Sweet Bread)
Southside Café – Paprika Chicken and Mamaliga (Romanian-Style Polenta)
