Career opportunities at Beasley

PULLMAN – Students of all ages are invited to The Career Expo of the Palouse 2008, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Beasley Coliseum.
 
The Expo is co-sponsored by the WSU office of Career Services and the University of Idaho’s office of Career and Professional Planning. Over 100 employers and graduate schools from around the country will be represented offering internships, summer employment, and career opportunities.
 
Some companies to expect are Boeing Company, Buckle, Cintas, College Pro Painters, Federal Way Police Department, Maxim Healthcare, Safeco Insurance, Inland Northwest Broadcasting, Fisher Investments, and many more. For a complete list of participants visit students.careers.wsu.edu
 
A Career Expo Pre-Funk will take place 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in the CUB Ballroom, for students interested in meeting some of the employers in an informal setting. Lunch will be provided and there will be games and prizes for entertainment.
 
There will also be a Career Services Open House 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Lighty 180. Career counselors will be offering resume help and interview advice.
