Pharmacy professor heads publications

SPOKANE – College of Pharmacy professor William E. Fassett has been named editor of the two primary publications of the American Society for Pharmacy Law (ASPL).

The two publications Fassett will manage are the bimonthly print
journal Rx Ipsa Loquitur, and the monthly electronic newsletter Pharma-Law E-news.

The ASPL  was founded in 1974 and is a national association of pharmacists, attorneys and others interested in the law as it applies to pharmacy.

Fassett has been on its board of directors since 2002 and is in his third term as treasurer.
 
Came to WSU Spokane faculty in 1999. For six years he served as dean of the College of Pharmacy.
 
He currently teaches pharmacy law and ethics, patient safety and entrepreneurship in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at WSU Spokane.
