Engineering education scholarship at WSU

PULLMAN – The School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering will hold a seminar titled “Engineering Education Scholarship at WSU” presented by Dr. Denny C. Davis.
 
The seminar is Friday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. in  LJ Smith Hall, Room 259.
 
Dr. Davis is Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering, formerly in Biological Systems Engineering.  He has served at WSU since 1976, engaging in teaching, research, extension, and a number of administrative roles, including Chair of the Biological Systems Engineering Department.
 
Dr. Davis is currently co-director of the Engineering Education Research Center and leading a number of engineering education grants funded by the National Science Foundation.
 
He is also chair of the WSU Teaching Academy, providing advocacy for the scholarship of teaching at Washington State University.  He is a fellow of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
