Porn debate comes to the Palouse

Pornography star Ron Jeremy and Pastor Craig Gross will debate porn at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Beasley coliseum. While free for all WSU students, faculty and staff, the debate will cost $10 dollars for the public.

It is sponsored by the Student Entertainment Board (SEB), which seeks to contribute to the academic discussion of difficult social and political issues.

“We want to open up dialogue among students and community members on the topic,” said Kelly Pflugrath, SEB special events programmer.

Jeremy has appeared in more than 1,800 adult films, has a master’s degree in education and has taught high school special education. Gross has written five books against porn and founded the website xxxchurch.com, which has a half-million visitors each month.
