Fans, supporters invited on tour

Washington State alumni, supporters and fans are invited to travel with the Cougar men’s basketball team to New Zealand and Australia in June.

The Cougars, coming off a school record-tying 26 wins and a trip to the NCAA Tournament, will depart June 2 from Pullman or Spokane, and return June 16. The trip will include two days in Auckland, New Zealand, before continuing on to Australia. There, WSU will spend two days in Canberra, three in Sydney, two in Brisbane and three in Cairns. The Cougars will play six games during their trip.

Tony Bennett and the Cougar men’s basketball team will travel to New Zealand and Australia in June.

The cost of the 15-day, 12-night tour is $4,750 per person and includes flights, accommodations, and breakfast each day.

Fans and supporters are invited to join Kyle Weaver and team for the two week tour in the Outback.

Limited sightseeing with the team, including a cruise to The Great Barrier Reef, travel on the team bus, and game tickets are also included. Individuals will be on their own for lunch, dinner, personal sightseeing, and transportation for non-team related activities.

June 12 at Rowland Cowan Stadium in Brisbane, Australia
8 p.m.

Game 6 vs. Cairns Marlins
June 13 at Cairns Basketball Stadium in Cairns, Australia
7:30 p.m.
