PULLMAN – Organizations and individuals were honored April 6 for their participation and successes during Cougar Pride Days 2007. The sixth annual event, held March 28-April 6, involved beautification and clean up in the city of Pullman and on the Washington State University campus. The Associated Students of WSU actively sponsored and support the event. Winning awards:

Cougar Pride Days organizers said total supplies used at WSU in Pullman during Cougar Pride Days 2007 included 600 yards of bark mulch, seven trees, 12 shrubs, 400 perennial flowers, 108 flats of annual flowers with 48 flowers per flat, 32 yards of gravel and 20 cubic feet of potting soil.
There were more than 120 projects during this Cougar Pride Days, organizers said, with more than 100 at WSU in Pullman. The total number includes projects in Spokane at WSU Spokane and at the WSU Intercollegiate College of Nursing, WSU Tri-Cities, and WSU Vancouver.
