Cougs arrive in Sacramento

WSU Cougar basketball team arrived in Sacramento Tuesday afternoon to begin preparing for it’s first appearance in the NCAA playoffs in 13 years.

The Cougs — ranked No. 13 by Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today — will face Oral Roberts in the first round of the 2007 NCAA Tournament beginning at 11:40 a.m., to be aired on CBS.

The Cougars were seated as No. 3 seed in East Region.

Not stressed, or saving up energy for the tournament, a WSU band member relaxes before the flight to Sacramento.
